Our services are FREE to all Anchorage Residents!

Study Options

1. In Person or Online Classes

- We offer classes at 11am-12:30pm, 1-2:30pm, and 5:30-7pm Monday-Thursday
- Classes are 8 weeks long and meet twice a week.
- Classes start in January, March, June, August, and October 

2. 1-on-1 Tutoring

We will match you with a tutor who works with your schedule and learning style. 

3. Study on your Own

We will provide you with online and paper materials to study for the test on your own.

4. Computer Lab

You are welcome to come and use our laptops and internet during our hours!

Step 1:

We will contact you to schedule a registration meeting. This usually takes 45 minutes. 

Step 2:

Take the placement test.
All students are required to take the Reading or Math TABE. The TABE test is given by appointment and can take up to 2.5 hours.

Step 3:

Get ready for class.
We will place you in a class or study option that is best for you. We will help you get set up with an online program you can use to study at home

Step 4:

Start studying!

Our Hours

We are open Monday-Thursday, 9am until 7pm, and Friday, 10am-2pm.

Computer lab will be open during this time and our instructors and staff will be available to answer questions.

1-on-1 tutoring is done when you and your tutor are available. Tutoring can occur over the phone, Zoom, in the computer lab or at a local library.

About the GED Tests

To get your GED, you must pass all four of the GED Subject Tests:
-- Reasoning Through Language Arts
-- Mathematical Reasoning
-- Social Studies
-- Science

Each test takes between 70-150 minutes.
You can take them all at once or one at a time.

For students who are enrolled with us, we will pay for your first attempt at every test!
